DCJS Security Officer Courses

The Department of Criminal Justice Services requires the following training for all security officers in Virginia:

1. Unarmed Security Officers are required to take the 01E Security Core Training.
2. Armed Security Officers are required to take three classes, 01E Security Core Training, 05E Arrest Authority/Handcuffing, and 075E Security Officer Handgun.
3. To register for the class, please go to Aspistc.com and scroll forward in the calendar to the first day of the course. Then click on the course in the calendar and make payment.
